This is a set of antique fine porcelain dining china that was produced by R. Delinieres in Limoges, France. The area of Limoges, France was known for the production of fine porcelain wares as they have a high content of kaolin and petuntse clays in their soil which are necessary for the 'recipe' to make porcelain. The overall design of the china is based on 18th century sterling silver ware forms. The mark on your set dates the pieces to having been made between 1894 - 1900. Although the gold is real, there is no longer a precious metal meltdown value as the cost to extract the gold would exceed the value of the amount extracted. The fine china for dining market is slumped currently; sets sold for significantly higher a few decades ago and have dropped since the Recession. The estimate is based on actual recent past auction sales.
