Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a cute teddybear. Such vintage soft toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis. This teddy appears to be in good condition without much wear or use on the fur.
The teddy bear has fur made of mohair. The teddy has fairly short limbs, circular feet and no hump on the back - which was typical of mid to late 20th century teddy bears. The more the teddy bears resemble real bears the earlier they are. The materials make me date your teddy bear to be from the late 1950s-1960s and made in the US, however this is very hard to determine without any labels or marks on the teddy.
During the 20th century a lot of companies produced soft toys and in particular teddy bears, however the earlier the teddy bear is the higher the price.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the teddy bear has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the sweet teddybear. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
