An antique Rococo style glazed porcelain and gilt metal egg-form box
probably French, possibly 19th Century
The hinged lidded box painted with two seated figures on a white ground, signed indistinctly "Valdue" , opening to reveal a white ground with floral decoration. Gilt metal footed holder.
5 inches high (closed), 6-1/2 inches high (open); 6 inches wide
CONDITION: this appears to be in good condition
