Diamond Dinner Ring
I think the center stone is 3/4 carat diamond with surrounded with diamonds. It is an inheritance from my Grandmother.
A ring that was given by my Grandfather to my Grandmother for their diamond anniversary.

However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the ring. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Your item will be presented for several auction houses, they usually tend to be interested primarily in items worth more than $1000. I would recommend waiting to see if an auction house reaches out to you and otherwise you could try selling it on ebay

Has the ring been put in an auction?
No you will be contacted by an auction house if they want to commission the ring. If not I would suggest ebay or perhaps trading it in a jewellery shop.
