Silver or Platinum band with 7 diamonds. Large diamond in center. 3 smaller diamonds on two sides. 2cm band diameter. 2.5 cm tall from bottom of band to top of large diamond. Not sure of the material. Was my mother's ring.
My mother had it wrapped up and hidden. I came across the ring while going through things in the house. It's possibly a wedding ring from a previous husband.
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely vintage diamond ring. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis. Based on the photo of the marks I would say that the ring is made of 14 kt white gold set with 1 larger and 6 smaller diamonds. The design of the ring dates from the 1960s-1970s when I presume the ring was made. It appears to be in good condition however it is difficult to tell the size, colour and clarity of the stones based on the photo alone. I pressume the diamonds have a total carat weight of approximately 1,0 ct.
I believe that it would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the ring has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the diamond ring. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
