This is a Colonial Revival mahogany veneered dining table, made (most likely) during the 1930s or 40s; there were a number of makers in the US working in this style and while many labeled their work, these often fell off and the maker's names were lost to history.
I can see from the traces of normal wear and tear that this table has been well used and no doubt the scene of many family gatherings - perhaps no single piece of furniture is as imbued with family history as the dining table.
While increasingly few people have formal dining rooms anymore (opting for open-plan residential layouts), dining tables can usually still find buyers at auction, in a variety of price points. Were this to come to auction, it would likely sell in the range of $400 to $600.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Colonial Revival style mahogany veneered extending dining table
Unattributed American maker, circa 1930s-40s
Of circular section with molded edge, raised on baluster-turned legs on compressed bun feet joined by a shaped X-stretcher. Accompanied by four 11-inch leaves. Unmarked.
31 inches high; 54 inches diameter (closed); greatest length: 98 inches (including four 11-inch leaves)
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition with minor wear commensurate to age and use.
