Hi Andres,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Funko — best known for its hugely popular Funko Pop! figures — is a dominant force in modern pop-culture collectibles, blending mass appeal with elements of scarcity and fandom-driven collecting. Founded in 1998, Funko began as a small nostalgia brand making bobbleheads. It took off after being acquired by Brian Mariotti in 2005, who shifted focus toward licensed pop culture merchandise. Today, Funko produces vinyl figure in the Pop! line, bobbleheads, apparel, pins and accessories, and licensed merchandize across film, TV, gaming, music and sports. They hold licenses with major franchises like Disney, Marvel, DC Comics and Star Wars.
Dirk Nowitzki is one of the greatest basketball players of all time—a German-born superstar who spent his entire 21-season NBA career with the Dallas Mavericks. He was turned into a Funko Pop! figure as part of Funko’s NBA series. While it's not among the rarest Pops figures, it's desirable to NBA collectors, Mavericks fans and International sports collectors.
I can't tell from the photos if the signature is authentic or printed but other signed Funko Pop Nowitzki figures that have been sold in signed boxes usually retail for about $800, though when they come to auction, they bring less, typically in the $300-500 range. Ones listed on eBay for more than $900 are likely overpriced.
