Artifact from Hunza, Pakistan, maybe from bird bone?

Description
I bought this item in antique shop in Hunza, Pakistan. Im not sure about the material, its said to be bird bone and it feels boney. its said that this used to be currency 150 years ago when it was made. Im curious in both what this is and what is it worth.
