It does not look like a mass-produced factory replica if that's what you mean. It looks to me as I've described it and I have no reason to think it was painted by anyone other than Edmund E. Niemann. Does that answer your question?

Are you sure this was painted by Edmund E Niemann, I had someone else appraise it and they are quite confident the work is not by Edmund E. Niemann. They said that "There are so many artists that never made the record books and I think this is one of them. I look at artist signatures all day, and these two are really quite different. At the very least, yours is all caps and the listed signature is upper and lower case letters."

It's possible this was painted by another painter with the last name Niemann;
At this point, it may be best to change this to "American School, late 20th Century, inscribed 'Niemann '86'" with a revised value of $200-300. Please advise if you'd like me to do that
