What does this mean?

Hello Scott. Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with MeArto. The items presented appear to be photogravures after photographs by Edward Sheriff Curtis (American, 1868 – 1952). The titles include "Jemez Fiscal" (volume 16) and "Nootka Woman" (volume 11). These prints were pulled from a twenty volume publication titled "The North American Indian." The 30 year project consisting of 5000 pages of text and over 2200 photogravure plates, published by Suffolk Eng. Co., Cambridge, Massachusetts. The estimate provided is applied to the collection of two prints and based on recent auction estimates and results of photogravures by Curtis and pulled from "The North American Indian."
