The appraised work appears to be an oil on canvas painting possibly executed by Spanish artist Eliseo Meifrén y Roig (1859-1940). The painting depicts a landscape scene with dwellings located on the right side, a large body of water to the left and a mountainous form in the background with small sailboats. The artist was a prominent Spanish landscape painter and sailor, and he is considered one of the first proponents of the Impressionist movement in Catalonia.
