I have a bottle of Elk Run Kentucky Whiskey/Bourbon that my grandfather purchased in the early 1900's. It was distilled at the Elk Run distillery in Louisville Kentucky and I believe the distillery closed in the mid 1920's. It has never been opened. I rotate the bottle every 4-5 days to keep the cork moist.
The only mark of the bottle is the number 95 under the label.
Hi Don,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Do you have any sense of either the volume of the bottle or the proof of the whisky?
Height/diameter of the bottle?
Thanks,
Delia
