My great uncle, Carl Bretz, was a well known interior decorator in West Palm Beach from the 20's through the 60's, and was great friends with Mrs. Hurst while she was publisher of Harper's Bazaar. The story in the family was that they were a gift from Mrs. Hurst to Carl. He also had written some articles on design for Harper's Bazaar during that time period. My father had inherited them upon his Uncle's death. I don't know if I have a copy of my uncle and father's will, but I do have a copy of my Mom's will that lists them in my inheritance.
Dear Aransas,

The paper is titled on the reverse side with No. 266 "Robe d´ été", the stamp of Harpers Bazaar and Erte Romain De Tietoff Rue De Civery. The drawing is signed by Romain DE TIRTOFF with his pseudonym ERTÉ (1892-1990)
This piece is in medium condition and there is damage by light on the browened paper visible.
An estimation would be between 600 to 1200 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
