ACTUAL VINTAGE BLOOD RED CORAL THREE STRAND NECKLACE. NECKLACE IS PREOWNED ,CARED FOR AND CLEAN.THE 256 BEADS ARE HELD TO A THREE STRAND DESIGN BY A 14 KARAT GOLD TIERED CLASP. THE 256 BEADS MAKE 90 INCHES OF A SPECTACULAR SHOWPIECE. LENGTH IS APPROXIMATELY 18 - 20 INCHES WHEN FORMED INTO THE CENTER KNOT. WEIGHT IS 270 GRAMS.

This appears to be a red coral three strand necklace of very intense red, judging from the clasp of recent production. The color is so intense, that there is a likelyhood, that this is not based on natural carotene but the result of bleaching and dyeing and polymer impregnation. The estimate is based on the assumption that the coral was treated to enhance the color. A necklace of natural untreated coral would be worth twice the high estimate.
