This is a full-scale working model and is a one-of-a-kind built by the Rolls Royce Company in the early 1900's for sales promotions and display. It was built in LeFaune Buenos Aires, (Argentina) and has a brass inscription plate on the back near the storage trunk which confirms this. It is in fair condition, and it is completely made of brass and some parts have been nickel plated. No other metals were used. The seats have been tufted which reflect the actual automobile. It has a working hand clutch, brake and gas pedals, gear shift, operable steering, driveshaft, engine with front starting crank handle which when cranked spins the fan blades and other pulleys, A bonnet that opens fully, and a leather roof and straps which are all original. The seats are tufted just like the full size automobile. The lenses for the upper and lower head lamps look like cut industrial grade diamonds and the rear red taillight looks like a cut ruby. My wife’s grandfather bought gems while he was in Buenos Aires in 1958 and believe this is when he procured this model.
