25inches by 20inches, signed by Willardson
My grandmother worked for "fender" in the 60-80's was a gift
This is a vintage later 20th century commercial art print that was illustrated by Dave Willardson as a promotional or advertising image for Fender amps and guitars. It depicts an anthropomorphic wax record and a treble clef and musical note playing a Fender guitar and dancing with a Fender amp cranking out the sound of music with flying notes and wax records emanating from the amp. Willardson is best known as a cartoon illustrator for Disney where he was commissioned to create the posters for Bambi, Cinderella, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and The Lion King. He is associated with pioneering the "Pep Art Movement". The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
You are very welcome and my pleasure to be of help to you here.
Thanks, my grandmother used to work for Leo Fender in Corona Ca and we thought maybe they were worth something, now I know.
Thanks Again
