An example of 2 fossils of a prehistoric ray-finned fish. This thin slab has been worked to carefully reveal the bones of the fish fossilized in mudstone. This material is solid and stable, but can disintegrate if it gets damp and should be kept away from water. Specimen plate measures: 4"H X 7"W X .25"D.
