Don't know much about it.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a flintlock rifle in a military pattern from the mid 18th century to early 19th century. It is in severely distressed condition, with no legible markings or identifiers. The original fore-end of the stock appears to have been replaced by a different piece of wood at some point. The metal is showing advanced corrosion, with all of the original finish absent, and active rust throughout. The primarily valuable part of this piece is the lock assembly. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 125-135 CAD. Please reach out with any questions.
