I have multiple sets of cast and print fossilized dinosaur footprints. They have all been found on private property in Hunterdon county New Jersey. The fossils have all been verified by the Rutgers geological museum. I’m new to the hobby but have been told that they are worth good money so I thought I’d look into it. This is one of the many that I have found.

Possible Grallator Track Fossil
Triassic Period (216 to 209 million years ago)
Excavation Source: North America, New Jersey
An example of a bipedal, theropod, dinosaur footprint from the Passaic Formation in New Jersey, US. This is a section of the Newark Group volcanic rock of the eastern seaboard of North America and deep Atlantic Ocean. The genus was a meat eating animal that hunted and foraged; running on its back feet. I cannot discern if this is a front or back foot print. The example is in good condition but it appears that the trace fossil has been augmented with pigment. The dinosaur track has been coated with a tint and outlined to distinguish the formation from the rest of the sedimentary rock. From images it is difficult to tell if this is a cast or a true track fossil. Owner states they have in-person evaluation documents from Rutgers Geology Museum; not given for review for this online assessment. Measurement given: 7”x5”x3/4”; unknown weight.
