What does this mean?

Hello Brittany,

Thank you for choosing Mearto for your online appraisal.

Based on the images you provided and information, this item is:

An Asian Burmese Kalaga Tapestry, from mid 20th century. "Kalaga" is the name for embroidered tapestries from Burma. They are traditionally made of linen, silk, velvet, and cotton, and adorned with stones, beads and sequins. They are done entirely by hand from Myanmar (Burma)

These masterpieces take months of hand-stitched embroidering to complete.

Very good condition.
