I believe this to be... A French 19th century Louis XVI oxblood red porcelain and ormolu two-light lamp. The lamp is raised by a round footed ormolu base with square foliate feet, and a fluted socle shaped pedestal support with fine beaded and twisted ribbon wrap around bands. The baluster shaped oxblood colored porcelain body displays richly alternating ormolu cameo's and maiden masks with scrolled foliate handles. Markings: was not able to find any makers mark. Very good working condition with some patina and wear consistent with age. May have been modified.

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
You are correct about this being a French ormolu-mounted oxblood porcelain lamp, in the Louis XVI style but was probably made in the 20th Century. It's a little hard to tell from the photos but the quality of the castings looks pretty consistent - had this been made in the 19th Century, the casting between the foot and body of the vase would look different than the ormolu mounts on the top and foot.
While antique lamp dealers can sometimes get quite high (high three- or low four-figure) retail prices for their lamps, similar examples to this that have sold at auction recently have brought prices ranging from $400-600.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
