This chair is in excellent condition, with the exception that the needlepoint and petit point chair seat and back need cleaning. The back of the chair is covered in French Velvet. I believe it has springs and horsehair and straw filling the seat. The wood is beautifully carved and in excellent condition. I do not believe it has been refinished.
