Believed to be around the 2nd napoleonic era, not confirmed. There is a W or M on the pearl grip. There is also a CLK, which is possibly a maker's mark. The blade is blued partially and the handle is brass. Original scabbard, about 29". The whole sword is about 34".

Dear Roderick,
Thank you for your email and I wish you a Happy New Year 2021. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a highly decorated sword made and used by a public official in the Kindom of Bavaria under the reign of King Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria (1806-1825). The sword has a gilt and decorated hilt and mother of pearl as grips. Also, we see the coat of arms of the Kingdom Bavaria (escutcheon of white and blue) and the monogram "M" with a crown for Maximian I as king. The blade is partially gilt, blued, and etched.
This piece was made under the reign of Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria between 1806-1825).
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 1.000 to 2.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,

Hello Georg,
Sorry for the lost of contact, I was busy recently. Any news as of recent? Thanks
What other stamps are needed? I've included the insignia on the grip and also the maker's mark. Should I get some closer pictures of those or take some more of the decorations?
