The finish is aged and slightly worn. There are some scratches and dents, but nothing major.
Other than the paperwork I have no knowledge of the desks history.

A Provincial Louis XV style carved elm Hunt desk
French, late 19th/early 20th Century
Of semi-circular form with cut-out center, over an acanthus-carved and curving rail, al raised on tall cabriole legs with raised bellflower carving and terminating in scrolled feet.
30 inches high, 64 inches wide, 33 inches deep
CONDITION: wear appears to be commensurate with age and use.
PROVENANCE: Acquired at D'Eva Designs, Turnersville, N.J., in 1998
