Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful tea set. Such antique silver tea sets are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
As far as I am able to read the silvermarks it was made in London in 1882. It appears to be in good condition without major signs of wear or use. This is important to potential buyers however teasets have gone slightly out of fashion these days which means a decrease in the prices. However the fact that it is an intact tea set and that it was made by Garrand of Regent Street in London would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction. Condiment sets are still used by many people and would add to the value of the teaset
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online silver auction, where I believe the teaset with condiment sethas the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely tea- and condiment set. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
