gemstones appraised
I received some raw gems from a family inheritance and would like to identify what gems I have and if there is any valuation associated with them. Particularly, a valuation per gram! In the one photo, there are several pieces however I have submitted the largest. Weight of largest piece (4 photos) - 87gr 2" L x 1.5" W x 1.5" H
A family friend in the Ozarks of Arkansas/Missouri recently passed and it is alleged he found these on his property, which I have also inherited (replete with mineral/oil/natural gas. The gems and raw gems have been secured in his personal safe for several decades

Considering the photographs, overall shape, crystal type and the colours, I concluded that this is a lot of natural Chalcedony Rock Crystals. Th definition is basically a cryptocrystalline form of silica, composed of very fine intergrowths of quartz and moganite. most of the pieces are in blueish-grey colour but there are variations of light brown and green as well. This type of your piece identifies as blue chalcedony. Usually raw piece are low priced in comparison to cut pieces and they approximately worth a 30 US dollars per kilograms. The shape or the colour of the piece can effect the price but your pieces appears to be average on colour. The crystal allignment is fine and the rocks are surronding the sem-precious crystal bodies. The pieces are in raw condition.
