Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful vintage Georg Jensen necklace. Such vintage Georg Jensen jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The necklace was designed in the first quarter of the 20th century. The silvermarks indicate that this necklace was made between 1933-1944. Jensen jewellery was popular for many decades (and still is) and the early designs were made in various numbers. However the best prices are obtained for the pieces where the silvermark is closer to the design date.
Your necklace appears to be in good condition with only minor signs of wear and use.
I believe that this lovely necklace would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online Scandinavian silver and jewellery auction, where I believe the Jensen necklace has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the necklace. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
