Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The item appraised is a four-piece Georg Jensen Danish "Blossom" pattern silver tea and coffee service with tray. The set comprises a tea pot, coffee pot, creamer, sugar bowl and handled oval tray. The coffee pot, tea pot and creamer each have fluted, tapering ivory handles. The set is purported by the owner from a previous appraisal to have authenticate Georg Jensen maker's marks and silver standard marks. The Blossom pattern was designed circa 1905, but the aforementioned appraisal dates it to 1935, likely based on the style of the maker's marks. The estimate provided is for a well-advertised auction and is based on previous auction results for Blossom pattern services. Retail prices vary and are typically 4-5x more than auction, but can be higher.
Kind regards,
Corey
