Hi Rich,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
George Kalinsky is a renowned American photographer and artist, best known as the official photographer for Madison Square Garden (MSG) since 1966. His work has documented pivotal moments in sports, entertainment, politics, and pop culture for decades. Kalinsky’s portraits and event photography have captured figures like Muhammad Ali, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Pope John Paul II, and virtually every major act or sports moment to appear at MSG.
Kalinsky’s Sopranos artwork is notable because it connects his legacy of capturing iconic cultural figures to one of the most culturally significant TV shows in American history. While Kalinsky is best known for photography, he has also created limited edition artworks and photo-based composites celebrating pivotal pop culture phenomena — and The Sopranos holds a unique place in that. The show (1999–2007) is often credited with ushering in the “Golden Age of Television.” A show that blended psychological drama with organized crime tropes, it redefined TV storytelling. Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini, became an enduring symbol of American antiheroes. Kalinsky’s artwork has also been interpreted as a tribute to Gandolfini following his untimely death in 2013, preserving his presence in a more formal and enduring artistic medium.
Steiner sports is the only one ever to hold a private signing with the cast of Sopranos. While I'm not able to readily identify how many of these were made and signed, there have been a couple that have been sold in brick-and-mortar auctions that sold for the fair-market price of between $200 and $300; note this may be less than retailers may ask for their copies and, if you are trying to sell it, an asking price of $500 is in line with what I've found online.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Good day, I originally purchased this back during the 2013 (I believe it was 2013) Garden of Dreams auction.
