Parents gave this to me, has been in the family for a long time. Seal of George Washington.
My grandfather acquired it.
Dear Scott,
Thank you for the additional images which I sadly can't see. Probably there is a technical problem. I suggest appraising these pieces preliminary so that you have a potential value.
The presented object appears to be two sealed documents. It appears that these are seals of George Washington. Both seals are described with later handwriting. The seal was on the envelope of a letter to a person with the last name Bryan. Sadly the details of the seal are not clearly visible. One of the seals is in a bad condition while the other piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 200 to 500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
Hi Georg,
I added more images. When will you have an updated appraisal for me?
