Dear David,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Sadly regarding technical problems, the images and messages were not displayed. I apologize for the delay of the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a series of lithograph prints with unknown measurements. These prints come from the series made by the German artist Arminius HASEMANN (1888-1979) with the title "Vom Edlen Weidwerk" (About the noble wild animals).
Artworks of this artist were recently offered and sold on the international and mainly on the German national auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
Dear Dave,
The estimation includes all prints. It is common that not all prints of a series or "Mappe" are signed.
With kind regards,
Georg
Georg was your estimate for a single print from the collection or for the collection itself? Also, was there nothing to be made of the autographs? They appear on several prints. The sheets are approximately 10x14 inches.
Thank you,
Dave
