Thank you for your help and your patience.
The presented object appears to be a German bible with the title "Illustrierte Haus-Bibel oder die Heilige Schrift" published by Ernst Kaufmann in Chicago since the 1890s. This bible was published after 1895. The hardcover is made out of leather with golden colored embossing.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

Hi Georg. Are you referring to the image of the English text? Are you asking where in the Bible this page is located? I'll check right away.
It's on the 3rd page. more or less. First the portrait of Martin Luther, full page on the left, then a page of onion skin, then the image I up loaded color image, then the title image I uploaded, then the English text on the left side of the book. Does that help?

Thank you for your second look. Is there a frontispiece? Mostly the first page of the book where the publisher and the year of printing are mentioned? I think this could be a reprint of a German bible that was made in the US. Thank you very much for your patience!
