Dear Richard,
Thank you for your request. The presented object is a pair of porcelain vases with a height of 12 inches. They have two ram heads attached and a painted decor. Under the bottom, we see the hallmark "SP Dresden" and the notation that these vases are handpainted. This hallmark was used by the "Sächsische Porzellan-Manufaktur Dresden" (Saxonian porcelain manufacturer Dresden). This company was founded in the year 1872 and produces mainly porcelain pieces inspired by the famous Meissen company in Dresden. This hallmark was used since 1902 and these two pieces were probably made in the second half of the 20th century. Sadly the market for decorative traditional decorated porcelain is falling in its prices.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
