Can you take a photo of the signature and attach it to this appraisal inquiry? If you are referring to the notches in the one photo, that is not a signature (it would look like Diego, or Alberto Giacometti in cursive).

Signatures can be anywhere, and they can be quite small, or not. It's usually not very obvious so it could be underneath.
