I believe it say Gibson England on the bottom. Very good condition. Small chip at the tip of the pourer. It was a gift.

Hi Christina,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This is an example of Gibson Queen's Ware, a ceramic dinnerware produced by the Gibson Housewares company, often inspired by or styled after the more famous "Queen’s Ware" originally coined and developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 18th century. It was a cream-colored, durable earthenware that gained royal approval—Queen Charlotte gave Wedgwood permission to name it after her. It became hugely popular and was widely imitated by other pottery companies throughout Europe and America. Gibson Queen’s Ware is not considered highly collectible like Wedgwood Queen’s Ware and its value is more decorative or functional than antique.
Large sets of this can sell at auction for 3-figure sums but individual pieces, even in good condition, rarely sell for more than $40 at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Gibsons Jasper blue Queen's Ware teapot,
mid-late 20th Century
Of circular section with loop handle and shaped spout, the body with relief-embossed figural and foliage decoration on a jasper-blue ground, impressed GIBSON ENGLAND underneath.
Height: 5 inches; Width: 8-5/8 inches; depth: 5-1/2 inches
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: Unknown
