Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by John MCCOLVIN (act.1880-1910) depicting a young woman in a late victorian dress. The artist painted similar motifs repeatedly, unfortunately no biographical data are available. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
