I have a set of 6 glass bottom tankards all with varying patterns and colors. They are about 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide at the mouth with the base being slightly bigger. All of them hold water but one and that one has a slow leak. there are no marks of any kind to indicate a maker or other identifying feature.
I got them from a local garage sale.
Thank you for submitting your items for appraisal. This appears to be a set of anglo-indian glass bottom tankards, most likely tinned brass, intricately incised and painted with red, ivory white, blue and green lacquer. Production date most likely late 19th to early 20th century. These decorative indian metalcraft items are rather common, but a set of six tankards is quite rare. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
