It’s a mirror case initialed MMS with a chain attaching a small lipstick case. There are 3 blue stones on the mirror but I’m not sure what they are.

I can make out 14K easily enough but don't recognize the JL mark. This has a French aesthetic but could be made by anyone else. It's fairly simple, and the gold content should be tested by a jeweler (who could also look for more precise marks) so I'm a bit conservative with the value as it could be worth a bit more but as its relatively plain I wouldn't expect it to be considerably more valuable than $300-500.
Hi Delia, thanks so much for getting back to me. I posted another picture. It’s looks like a J…the mirror part of the compact actually opens! Which I never even realized.
