Gold egg shaped necklace with rows of colored jewels from top to bottom, and a larger red jewels on the bottom of the piece. The egg is hollow and on its original chain.
My boss gave it to me as a Christmas gift in 2008. The rest is unknown.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful necklace and pendant. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The design of the pendant with the many coloured stones is very elegant and unique. It was probably made around the time when you were given it - so it is not antique. The dots you describe are not gold marks or what I know as makers marks. I belived that the necklace and pendant may be made of gilted silver or another kind of material however I am quite sure that it is not gold. In order to make sure I suggest that you ask your local goldsmith if they can run a material test for you and determine what the necklace and pendant is made of. The coloured stones may be semiprecious stones or cut glass. I tend to believe that it is cut glass if the necklace is made of gilted silver. However if it turns out to be gold the coloured stones may be semi-precious stones.
The estimate given is conditional as there is uncertainty about the material.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the necklace and pendant has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the necklace and pendant. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
Other than the triple dots at the top & bottom of the piece, I don't see any visible markings, numbers or words.
