This is a vintage 2nd quarter of the 20th century, decorative table lamp with a porcelain urn form base that has a color transferpinted floral decoration. The base was likely produced in Austria, Czechoslovakia or Germany and would thus be referred to as Continental. These were usually sold as a matching pair. Although the gold is real, there is no longer a precious metal meltdown value as the cost to extract the gold would exceed the value of the amount extracted.
