The presented object appears to be a Greek icon painted in tempera on wood with the measurements of 10 x 8.5 inches. The icon depicts the crowned Mother Mary with Jesus Christ in the motif of "Hodigitria- Mother of God". This icon was probably made in Greece in the 17th or 18th century.
This piece is in medium condition and there are damages to the surface visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 800 to 1.500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
