This chandelier appears to be made of brass. I can’t see any markings or signs on it. It has been electrified, but all of the candleholders and original parts are still there and unchanged. I think it might be missing a couple of the crystals, but I’m not sure. I haven’t looked at it that carefully yet. It is very dirty. It was left in the home that we purchased by the woman who lived here before she was Scandinavian.

Hi Patricia,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The Gustavian style is Sweden’s signature 18th-century design movement. It blends the elegance of French neoclassicism with Scandinavian restraint and practicality. It's often hard to distinguish Gustavian from French or German chandeliers without provenance so if you say this belonged to a Scandinavian collector that's a strong reason for an attribution, though I'm not seeing anything to tie this to a specific maker.
Most late 19th Century chandeliers of this size and style usually sell at auction for between $4,000 and $6,000; note that retailers, such as you might find on websites like 1stDibs, are asking higher retail prices.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
