Satin feel to the material (on body). Very tightly packed stuffing, perhaps straw stuffing but because so tightly packed I doubt it, no markings for identification, limbs can be positioned, even limbs are stitched. I have other handmade dolls, but this one is the most unique. I definitely bought doll when I lived in New Orleans. 40.
