What does this mean?

Dear Benjamin,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and for your patience.

This is a woodblock print, ink and color on paper (probably rice paper) by Ando Hiroshige, from the Edo period, ca. 1833–34.

Deep snow covers the slope of Kanbara in the evening. Fresh flakes falling on the houses, trees, and mountains create a quiet that is broken only by the implied crunch of travelers' footsteps in the snow. This scene is almost entirely imaginary; it rarely snows in the Kanbara area, in present-day Shizuoka Prefecture.

Good condition.
