Monochromatic watercolor of two horses by Juang Zhuo Jun. Done somewhere in late 1960's to early 1970's. I have had the painting since 1973. Size 18x24. Framed. I am not sure of the name translation. I am not sure if the name translation or spelling of Juang Zhuo Jun is correct.
It was given to me by a Davig Juang - I hired him as an engineer for Eastern Airlines in 1973.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese water colour depicting two galloping horses, signed by the artist 黃綽筠繪 „Huáng chuò yún painted“ and with the artist seal "seal of Huang Chuo Wei", dated 1972. Unfortunately the artist left no trace, his paintings are not being offered or sold at auction. It is a well done piece of art, but the value can only be compared to similar watercolours by lesser known arstists sold at auction.
