The Goebel mark on your Hummel figure indicates that it was produced between 1972-1979. As you might know, the early Hummel figures are really the more desirable among the collector's. While your figure is lovely, the "For Mother" is not exceptionally rare, and it is a later production, thus the modest fair market value.
