Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Based on the photographs and description provided, the subject of this appraisal is an Anton Bachmann-made Violin, circa 1905 in Germany. According to the current owner, the piece was acquired via inheritance.
The body measures 14 inches long, overall length is 24 inches, and its width is 8 inches at its widest point. The piece is accompanied by a vintage case with green lining and two bows. The condition of the violin itself appears to be good, used, unrestored condition.
In 2013, a similar A. Bachmann violin sold via Skinner for $840. In consideration of the factors noted, a Fair Market Value (pre-auction estimate) of this violin would be estimated at $750 to $1000.
The Paesold and Bausch bows each have an estimated value of approximately $250 to $500.
Thank you so much . I have decided to sell it, can you help me?
