Hi Jennifer
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Marc Bellaire was based in the Los Angeles area of California and was active primarily from the 1950s through the early 1960s. He operated his own pottery studio in Los Angeles, sometimes referred to as Marc Bellaire California on labels and marks.
I've no reason to think this is not an original Marc Bellaire vase; while I can't find identical ones that have sold at auction, others he made from the late 1950s of comparable size and shape have sold at auction recently for between $100 and $150, though retailers commonly ask for higher retail prices.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Marc Bellaire earthenware vase
Flying Ducks design, dated 1959
Of circular section, the body with flaring rim, pinched neck and bulbous body decorated with flying ducks, on three molded feet. Impressed with name and date below.
Height: 20 inches
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition.

$ 100-150*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
