Metamorphic river rock with coloring and texture formed by intense heat and pressure. Glints of quartz and granite crystallization cover the surface. A great piece to exhibit on a scholar's stone stand as a desk ornament or as an addition to a terrarium or aquarium. Dimensions: 2 in x 3 in, unknown weight. As with all minerals; an in-person evaluation should be done to determine the specimen’s composition. A charge is often associated with this evaluation; but if precious metals or stone are discovered, there would be an increase in the specimen’s fair market value. It is also important to note sale allowances; as items found on public land of different countries, states, and regions have different protection laws associated. Meteorites and other protected natural and cultural items found in national parks, forests, and public lands belong to the federal government or indigenous nations of origin.
