In The High Seas
An impressionist art , oil on canvas painted by well known artist from Jakarta Indonesia, Affandi. The painting is about a lonely fishing boat plying the seas towards a storm buiding nearby. painted in 1980, it carries the inital or signature AF with the date 1980.Measurement is 135cmx100cm.
The painting was given as a gift to afriend in Semarang Indonesia by Affandi, later acquired by an artist in Bandung Indonesia, Mr Herru Prayogo, who sold it to me in late 2017. I brought the painting to Kuala Lumpur in january this 2018. The painting carry a new frame as the old one is broken due to wear and tear, the canvas is in good condition.

Dear Robani - Thank you for adding the additional images of your painting. The condition of this piece looks to be quite fine and I would place it in the same style of painting as your last submission. Like that example, this one is also painted in the Impressionistic style with loose and sweeping brushstrokes. I would estimate this piece to be in same $106,000USD range. Although, like previously mentioned, his results have a very wide variance. Both are great examples of the artist's work and are desirable on the secondary market.
